Well ive been SICK

Ive had the flu for four days now. Throwing up, bad runs and no energy at all. All ive been able to keep down is water and a ham sandwich. ugh.

Well, Christmas is over...

...THANKG F'ING GOD! The retards i happen to call my inlaws were a PITA this year. Mom-in-law made a lettuce salad that made half of us sick all day the 25th, dad-in-law was OK but was basically just a bump on a log. The brother in law couldnt seem to do anything but watch reruns of the christmas story or crappy cable hunting shows. In between he was expounding to all who would listen about his latest foray into bow hunting.

It pisses me off that he can blow 2500 bucks on a custom bow and quiver and nobody says a word but I spend 800 on an AR pistol and the SHTF because "what do you need that for?" And "you cant bring that to my house!". Very well. I wont come to your house anymore. Neither will your granddaughter.

The grandparents in law were cool but annoying as usuall.

My rents' were pretty good and didnt say much but my cranky ass sister was her usually self. Ever since we had a kid she's been a cold heartless bitch to my wife and then expects my parents to show her preference because "oh i cant have kids." Bitch.

Also where do they get the right to know who has a CCW permit? The state government took the info offline because it feared misuse and the state legislature passed a law forbidding its dissemination. I really need Joe Dumbass Criminal knowing i have a CCW and likely as not a handgun or two in my home. Stupid SOB's. The guy raves about the "handgun culture" of SD, but then starts backtracking as soon as he realizes that we have the #1 per capita rate of CCW holders and rank near the bottom of all states for handgun violence. He further then obfuscates himself by saying that holding a CCW permit is "honorary testosterone". What a fucking moron.

They get some stupid schmuck from harvard (How in the FUCK does some dumbass from harvard claim to know diddly-shit about SOUTH DAKOTA for pete's sake) to say that guns turn "non lethal events into lethal ones". Well no shit sherlock. Guns are designed to throw small objects (usually lead) at very high velocity. THEY ARE DESIGNED TO KILL. THAT IS THIER SOLE PURPOSE. Not as a "deterrent" or any other PC sounding term. When you pull the trigger of a handgun or any gun for that matter, if it is loaded, whatever is in front of the muzzle WILL be destroyed or killed. Thats is why the #2 rule of safe gun handling is: "Never let the muzzle cover anything you do not want to destroy."

This harvard prick says that we have one of the higest "gun prevelancy" rates in the country. Good. Long day

Im working graveyard tonite and i have to stay up in the morning to drive to my parents house. Long day. 150 mile drive, not that bad, but plenty for a holiday weekend. Havent been posting much because of the holidays. After the first of the year will pick up some. Have some new shooters to post about a when i get them together. As of now they are just piles of parts i dont have time to mess with.

Well, today is a total waste

I was supposed to go out west and work on a Shadow for a guy but he called in to say he was sick and had a doctor appt today. Therefore i cant go out and work. SO today is a total waste. Its too cold to go and shoot (like 3 deg here), im out of reloading supplies, and you can whack it only so many times ;-P.

I have been busy

BUSY BUSY BUSY! Aplogizes for not posting more often but with the holidays and other things happening i havent had much time.

I spent a weekend home with teh flu real bad and wheni got over that i had to cover a double shift for another guy who got sick.

We changed chemicals at the plant last week and we're still trying to get it setteld down and the scaling set right. Fun fun.

I got to shoot my new AR a bit the other night and run some 5.56mm through the reloading press as well. I picked up some low cost bullest from hi tech (www.hi-techammo.com) for a good price.

Weekend shift

On both days this weekend coverning for one of the guys who had to go to a funeral. Kinda sucks but oh well.

It was like 45 degrees herre yesterday and i got in a little trigger time with my CAR. Still breaking it in. I see there is a conversion kit to make them piston driven now for 400 bucks. A little steep but i might decide to sell my AR-180B and buy one.

Slow day today

Im by meslf at the plant today. Lyle is home working and Tom is home sick so im all alone. Not bad weather for a friday either. Maybe if its warm enough ill go get some trigger time tonite. Everything is slow here today as well. all the tanks are filling up and id say ill be shut off for a bit here before long.

Man have i been busy!

With christmas shopping, keeping up with work and the kid i havent been online much past getting my e mail. Not much going on other than normal holiday BS. Parents are still cranky about who's going where for christmas eve and how much time we're going to spend there. Im getting tired of it year after year.

Got my backordered Acceleracers DVDs the other day. They are an animated short movie series based on hot wheels cars and is a spinoff of the old World Race series. Not bad storyline and the animation is from Mainframe Entertainment so its all good. ME was teh creator of Reboot, the worlds first totally CG saturday moring cartoon (my favorite BTW) and they did just as good with the acceleracers cars as they did with creature creation in reboot.

My XM-15 is all together and i took it out for a couple range sessions in the last week. Spendy at about 1000$ all said and done but im not complaining.

Its been a bit

Been pretty busy lately. Had three days off and got to spend some time with my daygter. Got in all the parts for my CAR-15 and spent a good day getting that put together too. I had forgetten just how many small parts an AR had.

the yearly company meeting is this saturday (oh joy). at least we get paid for it. I think. we did last year but they cut out a bunch of stuff this year for perks and some of the guys are kinda pissed about it.
